If you also find yourself screaming into the void/at your phone, we think you'll find Unfortunately Not A Sound Bath (UNASB) to be a fulfilling, constructive place to spend 2 evenings a month (with the *gift* of listening to right-wing podcasts and talking to fellow left-wing freaks throughout the month). Take the plunge.
Who you are:
• ANYONE frustrated by Republicans’ electoral success and messaging dominance
• ANYONE concerned with Democrats inability to energize broad coalitions
• ANYONE eager to explore a new (probably scary) ecosystem and figuring out —together!— how we can change the narrative and build progressive power going forward
What to expect:
• Once you fill out this form you will receive an email with the information for the next podcast assignment & club meeting (which will take place via Zoom)
• You'll be expected to listen to the episode and take notes in advance, before coming together to discuss and develop tangible strategies to flip the messaging war on its head and build community through progressive values. (Warning: these podcasters love to yap, so episodes can be LONG!)
• There is a virtual chat space to share relevant articles, insights and content in-between meetings
• If you're a more experienced listener of right-wing content (bless you), and want to turn ideas into action — we would love your help growing and expanding UNASB through content, curriculum & more. Get in touch!
